A problem with my Triumph speed 400
This is my first time posting on reddit. I recently bought a Triumph Speed 400. It's not my first bike but my previous experience was with a Splendor so it is my first heavy bike. I tried my best to be careful with the bike but I dropped it a few days ago. I was on an incline and didn't give enough throttle and stalled the bike while I was a little leaned over. I was quite upset but didn't think much of it since it isn't that unusual for a beginner to drop their bike. Today, I gave it for the first service and they said that the T-bar had a slight bend because of the fall and that it was causing slight alignment issues and that I'd have to replace a lot of parts. The total cost is about 10-15k but insurance covers most of that. What I'm worried about is that I'm not totally an expert on the bike. I thought a simple stationary fall wouldn't matter much but it did. I really love my bike but a part of me thinks that it was a mistake to buy such a heavy bike. I don't really know what to think. I'd really appreciate your thoughts.5
