Love/ Hate relationship with Manglore
Came to this city 4 years ago during COVID because of my father's govt job ,although couldn't spend the whole 4 years here, had to keep moving back and forth but still it was enough for me explore dakshina karnataka. I loved the vibe of this place on the first day itself, beutiful temples, usually helpful people. I had zero adaptability to Kannada for first few months but i got along easily with kind help from city dwellers (although faced some rants but I don't care about it) Some friends helped in learning little bit tulu and that was a new experience. Then comes the most beautiful part, i got my first girlfriend here in manglore, she was beautiful, cute and comforting...man words are not enough. She used to reach me kannada and forced me to communicate with local shopkeepers, auto pullers etc so that I can learn something new and I loved this feeling, We used to go to temples and beaches (Tannirbhavi was the name ig) , don't forget about cafes (i loved olive Street in lalbagh) I made some awesome bike trips to Udupi and Mullyanagiri, i loved these trips. Although all good chapters come to an end, she broke up with me, and my time was also nearing in this city, i left early before my small family moved out. Didn't felt like staying anymore, the beaches didn't gave the same vibe without her and my bike felt heavy sometimes so met few guys for a last goodbye, she didn't come for that. I hope I could come again for those temples without any heaviness next time but for the vibe this place has i would always be up for it.4
