I'm from Mangalore, I wanna learn Tulu.

One of my parents is from there, although I was born and raised in Maharashtra (Mumbai). He doesn't have time to teach me, the relatives are far away and we don't have any relatives in Mangalore. One of my friends who was also from Mangalore just said "Are you even from there you don't even know the language", and something more along the lines of that. Didn't really bother to help other then letting me know what bewarshi meant (I forgot anyways).
