About Kadri Temple

I am brought up in Bangalore hence I have no idea about many things in Mangalore. I recently visited Kadri Temple and it was very fascinating and I want to know the history/stories of that temple. Also I saw a place called kashi teertha in the temple, is that water from kaashi or its just the name? I would also appreciate few suggestions of temples to visit. I have already been to polali, kateel,kadri,kudroli and mangaladevi.
