  • Seeking Advice on Schools in Madurai for My 4-Year-Old

Hi everyone, I’m new to Madurai and need advice on finding a good school for my 4-year-old daughter. I recently tried to enroll her in VMJ School, but due to heavy recommendation requirements, I couldn’t secure admission. My family suggested Idhayam Rajendran Residential School, and I think I can get admission there, but I’m unfamiliar with the school. If anyone has experience with Idhayam Rajendran Residential School, I’d appreciate it if you could share your thoughts. Also, if you know of any other good schools in Madurai, please recommend them. I’m looking for a school where: * The teaching culture isn’t too toxic, as my child is just entering LKG. * Teachers handle students well and don’t discriminate between bright and below-average kids. * There’s a focus on good mannerism, principles, and Tamil language, alongside academics. * Religion, caste, or favoritism isn’t a factor in how students are treated. I had a tough time as a below-average student in my school, so I want to avoid such experiences for my child. I believe that just learning and speaking English in school isn’t enough for kids—they should have a balanced and inclusive education.
