Have some queries regarding Madurai

Hi, I am planning to relocate Madurai. I belong to a nearby village that does not have basic amenities. So kindly clarify few of my queries. Which is the best place to buy land ? I am looking for something which is clean and has some nice environment. I have a 8 month old baby and need a good place to settle for his education and focus on some extra curricular activities for him . Is it okay to buy an old house and renovate it ? Which areas are best for this ?
