What happend to those lakes

I was exploring Bhopal on Google earth and i was using historical imagery feature then i noticed before 1983 there was some lakes near Bhopal's upper lake but somehow those lakes suddenly disappeared in year 1984 and i don't know what happened there and (the picture of 1983 is blur because this was a only way to explore it just zoom out until you can see entire earth and then zoom in near Madhya Pradesh Bhopal and in any year before 1984 you can see there was some lakes near the Bhopal's upper lake) please explain me what happened to those lakes in year 1984
