Best background noise cancelling microphone for Mac?

Hey gang! I'm in an open office space and need to take a lot of calls out in the open. We use Google meet which doesn't have any active noise cancellation, and seems I can't rely on the built in MacOS feature for it. So I need to figure out another solution. It seems my alternatives are 1. Buy a new headset (probably wired and with proper mic, maybe even dedicated software). 2. Install 3rd party software like Krisp (which unfortunately is pretty expensive) 3. Buy an external microphone (like blue yeti) The first alternative is my least favorite.. Mainly because I don't want to look like a gamer / like a pilot. But I'll do it if it's required. Maybe it's a combo of both 2 and 3 that is the best. I wouldn't mind upgrading sound quality, as long as I don't have to have it in front of my face like a wannabe podcaster. I'm googling, searching reddit, but I can't really find a good alternative. Any suggestions?? Both for software and hardware.
