Christmas lighting and decoration

Is there any place in Kochi that is decorated with lights etc during Christmas? Are the parks decorated during this time if the year During Onam trivandrum city had lot of lights put in the public space and we used to go on a drive around the city just to see that. My 1yr son loves that. Also, are there any other places worth visiting during Christmas/new year other than the Carnival?
