AI Camera_Travelling with a surgery patient

Does anyone have an experience of getting an AI camera fine, while driving a surgery patient in the passenger seat in your car? The patient cannot wear a seat belt because of a wound in the chest area. I do not want to put her in the back seat either, because she gets motion sick easily in the back. I searched whether there is an option to file an appeal against AI camera fines. Only reference i could find was about the option to file an appeal to avoid cases were our vehicle registration is illegally used by someone else. Can i file an appeal, attaching the surgical procedure related documents? Anyone with similar experience/dilemma with AI camera?
