Why do we pronounce “Queen” as “ക്യൂൻ ” even when it’s not hard to pronounce or enunciate “ക്വീൻ “?
Like the letters needed for it already exist in the Malayalam alphabets. So I’m confused why this is a behaviour. There are certain words that we convert to our own alphabets and that translation error changes the pronunciation. But this shouldn’t happen for queen, right? Is it because the letter Q itself becomes “ക്യു”?12
