What is the impact of Lulu Mall on retailers at small towns?

Lulu has been expanding its presence across the state with mega malls in major cities like Trivandrum and Kochi. Recently, the company launched mini malls in towns like Palakkad, Kottayam, and others. I am not debating whether it's good or bad. My question is - 1. How will the entry of Lulu mini malls affect the sales and revenue of other shops? Does these small towns have enough capacity for a chain like Lulu? 2. In real life have you experienced any businesses loosing out revenues to Lulu? Lulu is an integrated shopping center - Games, Entertainment, Shopping, Food and Parking. Which attracts a lot of people. Many shops close on Sundays and holidays. Lulu is open 365 days.
