Update: Need help with gift ideas/food ideas for boyfriend who is from Kerala. Firstly I am so sorry for the late update; we both got a little caught up in work and didn't get a chance to meet but when we finally did, I surprised him with Paysam Boli (after I read a comment mentioning it, I remembered how he had spoken about it being his favourite Sadya food). Now the Paysam was tasty (my mom said this, hence it was mom approved) but the Boli somehow turned out to become very dry and crumbly. I thought I fucked up the dish. I was a little unhappy with the Boli but when he tried it, he was more than happy. I mean, he said he loved it. He kinda overate that day haha. I did figure out why my Boli was so crumbly (added too much oil) but I think it'll be better next time!! I've added the picture of it, and I am going to make the rest of the recipes too, very soon hehehe
