Traffic challan sent to regular court

i live in Bangalore and had an AI generated challan in Sultan Battery area. I got the first information about this after 80 days stating 10 days left for payment. When i tried to pay online it kept failing. After the 90th day i got a message "The challan is not sent to Virtual Court because payment initiated. So challan will be disposed in the mentioned regular court." The court address is - Ernakulam JFCM 3. Now at this point i would expect the court to send me a notice for appearance so i can plan my travel from Bangalore to Ernakulam which will cost me FEW THOUSAND rupees to pay a fine of Rs. 250 (which i know at this point is at the Hon. Judge's discretion. Should i really go to the court and enquire or just wait for them to send me a notice?
