MBBS/BDS Admission advice

I would appreciate some advice for a relative. He is just completing +2 in Kerala now. He is appearing for NEET but honestly has very less chances of making it. His parents are willing to get a paid seat, but they have very less knowledge about the admission process. I did some research, but it seems that to get even a payment seat, you need a good NEET score. Can anyone pls advice on what is the best step for him. How can he get into a management seat? Is it also based on nEET score or he has to work it out using some influence? Any idea how much it generally costs? If anyone can point me to the correct subreddit to post this question, that would also be appreciated.
