Rajasthan as a Tourist
Hi everyone, I hope this is the right sub to ask something like this. I am going to Rajasthan in a couple of months and I am wondering what expects me there. To give a bit of a context, I am invited to a wedding and due to join the first three days of it. I will be there with my colleagues and quite a few locals whom I know from the UK. I can’t wait and so excited but I also want to minimise any possible culture crush. My background is white non-European (east Mediterranean/middle east), so not exactly typical British but obviously living here for years, some of my reactions have been anglicised over the years. Would this be an advantage or disadvantage when I am there? I am not great with awkward moments -lol- so what should I expect it to see when I am there. Thank you and please try to refrain from internal politics in the comments. It’s your country so I don’t want to get involved with your politics, my question is purely touristy and cultural. Be kind and polite to others. Thank you. Namaste.3
