BGV Q: Can I use references from my two past roles in the same company?

Hello, I have been accepted in a new company and I am working on the BGV (Background Verification) requirement. In my previous company, I held two different roles, and I had different reporting managers. Now, in my BGV application, they are asking for references from my past employers. My question is: is it acceptable to provide references from my past two roles? Thank you.
