Road conditionsl help Hazaribagh to Dobhi via Chhatra

Hi All, i am planning to travel to Lucknow from Hazaribagh via GT road. Since GT road is under construction for long time in the stretch from Chandoli (UP) to Barhi, I want to avoid the bad stretch and traffic by travelling to Dobhi via Chhatra and Itkhori. Has anyone travelled in this stretch recently and can tell me about the condition of this road?
