What is JEE advanced?

JEE Advanced is a highly competitive exam conducted in India for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). It's the second stage of the IIT-JEE (Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination) process, following the JEE Main exam. Only around 2 lac students are eligible to give JEE advanced exam every year from 10+ lacs people who appear in JEE Main exam. 

Only those who qualify in JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. This exam is known for its challenging nature and requires a deep understanding of physics, chemistry, and mathematics at the higher secondary level. JEE Advanced tests not only knowledge but also analytical and problem-solving skills.

The exam consists of two papers, each with a duration of three hours. The papers are designed to assess a student's conceptual understanding, application of concepts, and ability to solve complex problems.
