17M is cse still relevant

I mean after all these ai hype train, advancements and layoffs, is it really worth a generic cse degree no matter which college it is. I am thinking of my choices. Not like I have interest in any. Thinking of getting into cybersecurity from a long time(3 years) Need some karma too so please upvote.
