Why 22s1 possibly has such a strange data
1. Weird weightage. there were 4 questions from thermal properties, a chapter most of the aspirants do not really revise 5-6 times as it has a very low weightage. QFTs didn't have a single question from TPOM, so obviously students didn't prepare it well and rather studied the conventional chapters 2. Fked up calculations: The calculations were VERY lengthy to say the least. Each and every question was designed in such a way that students would have to use their pen to do long-ass multiplications, which did waste a lot of time 3. Day-1 stress: apart from Jan of 2024, each and every preceding years have had the LOWEST cutoffs for the first shift. 4. It wasn't as easy as you think: The memory based papers weren't accurate till atleast 70%. And being the first shift almost 10 lakh aspirants judged it from the memory based papers initially. And after all the shifts, obviously everyone would find their shift harder. The mathongo and other youtubers didn't take into account the above points while ranking the difficulty order, and they purely judged it from a teacher's POV. But the students have had a difference in opinion. Even the highest scorer in 22s1 got 290/300 so this shows that 22s1 might be one of those papers we can say was of 2020 standards although I could be VERY VERY WRONG and it makes much more sense to wait till 12th. Just an analysis I made while on my walk lol.1
