Top 3 Mistakes I Made During My JEE Prep (So You Don’t Have To)!
When I started my JEE prep, I made some trivial mistakes that cost me time and peace of mind. Sharing them so you don’t repeat them: 1. **Ignoring Weak Areas:** I kept running away from topics I found hard. Thought I could “somehow manage” later, but trust me, *later* never comes. Start tackling your weak areas early—it saves you from panic later. 2. **Skipping Mock Analysis:** I used to give mock tests back-to-back without analyzing them. Big mistake. The improvement actually happens in the *analysis*. Identify where you lose marks—be it silly mistakes or conceptual gaps—and work on them. 3. **Overloading Resources:** I wasted so much time hopping between books, trying to cover every resource out there. Stick to a few good ones (like NCERT + a coaching material), and master them. Quality over quantity, always. Learn from my mistakes, and you’ll save yourself a lot of stress. JEE prep isn’t about perfection; it’s about consistent improvement.1
