So many jeetards were asking about a detailed posts about iiit regarding syllabus campus clg life hostels seniors and placements. So here you go... So I am in iiit nagpur (3rd yr cs) Syllabus in 1st yr - you have to go with basic mathematics like integral and differential calculus matrices det. Basic courses of electrical engineering and computer programming and some non credit courses like environment studies and communication skills ( may be these 2 are credit courses in some clg). If you have some basic questions like how much time we have to study difficulty level of questions in examination...so it's depend upon u if you want then you can cover it in 1 week before examination also or else u can study 1 hr daily to get good gpa (like when I was in 1st yr then I studied 1 night before examination and now I study on the examination day lol but still manage to get above 7 cgpa.) repeated questions asked in examination so you just have to contact your seniors for imp questions and then you can go through that. Campus Life is very good if you have intrest in any sports then you can practice 24×7 in the campus. Hostels are also quite good (but I live in flat) double and triple sharing rooms for 1st and 2nd yr after that you will get single room.seniors are also very supportive but only if you have given ragging to them. (This part I cannot disclose here too much if you want to ask then msg me in my dm). Now comming to the most important thing i.e campus placement - I"ll not much glorify about placement but still the placement is good and placement ratio is also more than 70% many good companies come after 5th sem you will also get chance of PPO during your internship/training. Or else you have much scope for off campus also. I have given interview for 2 companies (but got rejected lol) but after 3rd yr you will get many chances to sit in interviews.
