I am quitting jee

I am completely quitting jee for jan attempt and focusing of boards hsc and as soon as boards get over I would start preparing for jee april attempt for 30 days , pls suggest me if this is right thing to do I have zero prep in boards and my jee prep is also mid or even worse , PLS REPLYYY !!!!!!!
