Does NATURAL IQ matter in JEE?

Most ppl say* practice,practice, practice * or *follow the process throughout the 2yrs* And u can score a rlly good mark in jee main and adv They would've also scored great in their mains and adv But are ppl like them born with natural iq practice something, cozi have seen ppl who did the same process and are remaining avg My dad also said jee needs some lvl of natural intelligence(he has no connection to jee in anyway btw)He says that neet is highly scorable if u just do hard work but for jee u need some natural iq Is this right chat, Im a 10thie and wanted to get answer to this doubt before entering this rat race.....
