Let me tell you Real Incident from perspective of a 1st Year So, In MANIT there is a PDF known as Funde PDF which contains some Obscene Questions included Sexual Stuff (Juniors are expected to mug it up and dictate it in front of seniors if asked and this is meant to save Juniors from potential ragging. {Now dont just jump on me ki ragging se kese bacha rha Funda Culture, so the scene is ki jinhe funde nhi aate unke saath Physical Abuse hojaata isliye rattna is favorable}) So, 16 Feb 2025 mei Fest hai E Summit ka last day tha. Isme 1st Year and Rest Years ko seperate kr rkha tha usme, ek Junior hai lets say LM, wo 2nd year region mei ghum rha tha and usse ek Drunk Senior and uske dost ne pakad liya (LNCT wala, Pvt College here in Bhopal). Uske Funde lete hue, LM ko chaanta maar diya LNCT wale ne toh, LM ne Collar pakad li LNCT wale ki. Ab ispe Scene hogya jispe Seniors and E Cell Members and Juniors ne dono party ko seperate karaya and jiss path se LM 2nd Year Region mei ghusa usse band kr diya E Cell Team ne. Ab koi Junior, Senior pe haath uthade toh, Senior ka Ego hurt toh hona hee tha. Toh 2 Seniors (One from Student Council) aagye activa leke and they started taking Funde on Multiple Juniors at a time and Cussing every Juniors on the path back to hostel. Ek Senior ne Activa bhi 4-5 juniors se bhida dee and then Juniors got out of hand. Juniors ne jinn Juniors ko Seniors ne pakda tha for Funde unhe bachane dande leke chale gye. Now, Juniors attacked Seniors and Seniors also retalliated which involved Danda Maar, Stone Pelting, Kicks and Punches and Slaps from both front which ended up injuring multiple Juniors (Head Injuries and Minor Injuries) and Seniors (Involving some politically influential seniors). This Incident of End of Fest and Fight b/w 1st and 2nd Year happened in just span of like 15-20 minutes so, Authorities were Unaware of Issue so, they came at Site (Front of Hostel 10 CD, Junior Hostels) with Wardens, Bouncers, Guards and Chairman of Warden Council) and they seperated both 1st and 2nd Year. The things were handled by Authorities for like 20-30 Minutes. Juniors went to Mess to have Dinner since, we were released late from Fest, then all of a sudden something like 7-8 Seniors jumped inside Junior Hostel (There are like 3-4 Loopholes in Design from where Intruding inside Hostel is Real Easy and Authorities and Students have Idea regarding it) and surrounded Mess which caused havoc within Juniors and Students hid in region which connected Mess of 10C and 10D. Things went quiet for a few minutes. After which enters Police and started bashing the shit out of Juniors and Seniors on Authorities Command. The Lathi Charge was soo Brutal that even Warden was hit twice or thrice in the process and then Police began locking Juniors in their respective rooms and anyone found outside was beaten like hell (Screams were pretty loud from Roof and Corridors). Now the Loophole spots were totally covered by Police and anyone found roaming around those were beaten barbarically. Things end here in Junior Hostels. Now, comes the Senior Perspective consulted and described by several seniors. So, lets give background about 2nd Year Seniors. So, Seniors are alloted Hostels on basis of their CGPA so, 3 Hostels are alloted for 2nd Year (H10B for Toppers, H3 for Moderately Smart Peeps and H2 for Duffers and Drug Addicts) So, the Seniors who were involved in the fight were mostly from H2 and H3 (2-3 from H10B, those were totally innocent peeps) After like the end of the fight b/w 1st and 2nd Year. Police took charge over by consent of Authorities and they ended up assaulting seniors by like- Damaging their Personal Property, Entering their Rooms without consent and picking up on them by Collars and dragging them out of their space and beating them to gain some tea or plan of who were involved. Many Innocent Seniors were beaten so Brutally that even 10-12 Seniors ended up sent to Govt Hospital Emergency with Major and Minor Fractures and Strains, Scratches and many pains involved. Many Seniors who werent even part of any fight were harrassed. So, one more background before continuing is that this Year Student Council was dissolved by Authorities so, that Students cant unite and maintain democracy amongst them. Students of Final Year fought against administration to unite the council. So, Authorities already had grudges hidden within themselves towards Council so, Police were asked to arrest 4th Year Seniors who were in SC (Vice President, Joint Secretary and Other Heads) where, the point to be noted is that issue was between 1st and 2nd year but one who were arrested were from 4th Year. So, at the end of day, both fronts 1st and 2nd year were wrong as, Juniors are expected to maintain that Senior Junior Respect which, they crossed and ended up beating seniors, stone pelting, cussing them. On the other hand, Seniors were also wrong as, they didnt supported Juniors when someone from other college end up harrassing junior with them being quiet. They ended up starting to take funde and beating the crap out of juniors. Main Fault were from Police and Authorities as they had no power to beat mere 18-21 year olds and Authorities had to save Students but they ended up taking benefit of situation and used it to satisfy their own manifestos. #NoRagging #SaveMANIT #ResignDirector
