Please avoid using such massive DRLs on your Thar, IT'S BLINDING FOR THE REST OF US

Today at around 9pm I was returning home and there comes this Thar with such an immense strength in its DRLs that I got blinded immediately. There was no divider on the road, he just casually overtakes a scooty and comes in my lane almost causing an accident, at such speed. The entire road was just light in my eyes and I had to slow down to almost stopping. Why do you do this? Is it really necessary? Other vehicles don't use it meaning they have enough light using their existing lights?
