Moving to Jaipur from Kerala for a job. What to anticipate?

Hey! I'm moving to Jaipur in a week to start a new job at Jaipur National University. I'm traveling from Kerala and am a little worried about the shift. I've lived outside India for many years but the transition to Jaipur seems somewhat different. Might be my nerves but I'd love any little word of advice, suggestions or thoughts you'd have. How's the food like? Is the dating scene fun and safe? How to make the most of the city in the few months (I think) I'll be there? All the basics and add-ons on how to combat my anxiety about the move: I'll take it all :) Thanks!
