Fed up of Airtel (nakli) unlimited 5G. Thinking of switching to Jio (is it?) unlimited 5G. How has your experience been with both 5Gs connection in Jaipur.
Airtel people in their customer care outlet promised me an unlimited 5G connection and gave me a postpaid sim card that had deceptive 5G sign on the top right corner of the screen where in reality their customer support backend team agrees that there has been not significant 5G used by me and also said that they haven't yet fully expand in areas of Jaipur.. these people are selling 4G services in the name of unlimited 5G and making crazy money in the name of postpaid services (upto 700 per month, including unnecessary data booster)!!! :/ To add on this, once you join postpaid, as per the customer care, TRAI guidelines says you can't even change the plan or the operator for next 3 goddamn months!!!???? This is so sick. :/ I was planning to switch to Jio as soon a this 3 month jail finishes, but I'm not sure about Jio signal quality and coverage in Jaipur. The more I'm researching about it, the more I'm finding that it seems like Jio has a better coverage but inferior signal quality. As in they have poor per head download strength, perhaps so to larger user base. If Jio has poor signal strength/ speed, then I'm thinking of just switching back to Airtel prepaid-- it's far cheaper than their postpaid gimmick. I'm also interested in knowing Jio's customer care experience, responsivity, average cost, ease of plans, as compared to Airtel. Personally, all my work is mostly online so I'm heavily dependent on mobile data to use for my laptop as well. I'm planning to relocate within Jaipur hence not thinking of getting a fibre or wifi connection ATM. I just want a good strong signal connection in my phone mainly. I'm curious to know it first hand from people in the sub about their experience with Airtel and Jio and their advice on switching to Jio in Jaipur.3
