Exploring Platforms to hire people.

As a millennial asking the new generation what platforms they prefer to apply to jobs and does this changes with the industry or type of role you are applying for. Also for every generation there is a trend that is followed by most earlier, it was CA, Engineering, and similar feilds. Is there any change in that and if so what it is? it's hard for me to understand from the limited exposure or talk I have with younger people.
