Any mod here can justify the reason to not allow media in comments?

Well uh, I know the mods are already hibernating or probably dead but if one of you is able to read this, why on this God’s green Earth is media disabled in comments for r/jaipur? Sharing pics and gifs makes the posts and comments more entertaining and engaging, in turn increasing the engagement of the sub itself. There seems to be no point disabling media.
