Theft Incident at Poornima College: Smartphones and Cash Stolen Outside Computer Lab

Today at Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur, during the B.Tech 3rd semester practical examinations, an incident occurred around 12:30 PM. An individual, possibly an outsider, entered the campus and stole six smartphones and approximately ₹7,000 in cash from students' bags before leaving unnoticed. This incident highlights the lapse in college security and management. It appears that security guards failed to check the IDs of individuals entering the campus or ensure entries were made in the visitor register. Such negligence allowed the intruder to gain access and commit the theft without raising any suspicion. This calls for immediate action to strengthen security protocols and ensure the safety of students and their belongings.
