Need to make a Film for my graduation project!
Hello! My name is Deepanshu Kumawat. I am from Jaipur. I am a final year Film & Video Communication student at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. We must make a film for our graduation project, which will be the final submission to NID. I was wondering if anybody or any organisation has some requirements for making a film? You can check some of my work below. I would greatly appreciate any feedback you can give me on my work. **Extended/short-form writing:** [The Vinyl Renaissance](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tRJoW4zZ_hDcmc2DDPN24a2E9OdvVvM1/view) [Gauhar Jan](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x53YkZyj7QNg8uB4OcUyZXGfSeESPB_O/view?usp=drive_link) [Simla Beat Contest](https://www.instagram.com/p/CgeWzaTsSUk/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link) [Music in the Courts of Akbar](https://www.instagram.com/p/CfEOnFMoVd_/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link) [Dhrupad](https://www.instagram.com/p/CdfyibioFbK/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link) [Ghazal](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cb99s4wjBiQ/) [Khayal](https://www.instagram.com/p/CbH5OF0s6gS/) **Films/Video:** [**Chayachitran**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAu31bRdQXI)**:** The film communicates the hegemony established by Britishers as colonisers of a sublime, far-away, oriental land with the use of Photography. In this case, a coolie, as part of the troupe of the expeditionary photographer Samuel Bourne, narrates the treacherous lengths he and his colleagues had to go through to support English Sahib's Photography on an expedition in the mighty Himalayas. Most of the photographs used in the film are taken by Samuel Bourne. The script is inspired by the revered text 'Meghdoot' by Kalidasa and the letters written by Samuel Bourne to the British Journal of Photography. The film uses photographs with a narrative woven around them to depict the position Photography held back in the 19th century. I hope you like it as well!1
