Is it right to publicise patient’s story being a psychiatrist?
In frame: Dr. Anjali Jaisinghani I believe she is a practicing psychiatrist at NIMHANS, Bangalore and is an influencer. Almost all of her reels are surrounding patient stories. And the worst part is that she makes suspense-like content out of their plight. Isn’t it the first rule of patient-client confidentiality that you don’t disclose their situation? I’m not talking about names here. And are the patients being informed that their stories would be out in the public for viewers to feast on? I’ll be joining the practicing psychologists fraternity in a few years. And I could be wrong with this but I wanted to know your thoughts on this. Feel free to police me if I’m in the wrong in any way.4
