Influencers will promote anything and everything for money

I just came across a reel on my feed, and it’s unsettling to realize how easily an influencer promoted a blatantly shady product just for money. I understand that not every influencer promotes products without ensuring transparency, but even when influencers claim it’s not a paid promotion and that they genuinely use the product, it’s still hard to trust completely.
