Scammed at Laptop Repair Shop in Indore

My brother was scammed by Nenotech Computer Repairing Center, a laptop repair shop located at Silver Mall, RNT Marg, Indore. The owner, Lokesh Bairagi, gave him a phone number to contact. When he called, the person on the other end asked for INR 5,000 for repair work, which he paid online. They then demanded an additional INR 3,000, which raised his suspicion. When he visited the shop, he realized something was wrong. The owner claimed he had given him a different number, and he had no proof of their conversation. However, he does have receipts for the full payment. Now, when he tries calling the same number, it connects to a different person. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation before with a laptop repair shop or any other service? I have filed a complaint in cyber crime.
