What are some life skills that I should learn?

Hey Indore! I'll be moving out for an internship in a few weeks. I've lived all my life here and so I don't think I actually have the street smarts or the skills to survive in a new place. What are some skills or hacks that you personally learned/used that helped you in navigating tricky situations in a place that was fairly alien to you? Obviously I'll learn the basics like cooking for myself and stuff like that. Thankss!!
