Was told I can't buy bike in indore as I was not from MP !

Was facing a lot of issues with my current bike and I was advised to replace it. So I went to Doshi Honda at satya sai to get quotation. The sales representative asked me what is the address on my aadhaar card. Told him it was from maharshta. The guy told me that i won't be buy bike on my name as the Indore RTO has brought up some rule that the address should be of same city on aadhaar. (Basically can't buy bike in indore if I was from outsid of MP) Later this guy told me "Aap kisi aur ke naam pe lelijiye, ajun baju wale neighbour or friend ka addhar Attach kardena". (Completely illegal btw) Is there any such rules ? Any suggestions?
