Need help with my RC renewal.

My bike was bought in Oct 2007 and it had legal limit of running till Oct 2022. Since I didn't use the bike that much as I live in another city, I didnt bother about it. Now that I am back Indore, I want to use this bike but I dont have any idea how to renew the RC. Can anyone suggest me anyways I can renew the RC? What steps do I need to take, what legal paperworks do I have to go through? Also, after my RC renewal is done, I want to get a new insurance and a new number plate with the barcode (or whatever it's called, the silver thing on the side) on it. So please tell me that too.
