Need help regarding this matter :

I recently submitted my application and payment for the CUET PG exam , and NTA sent mail of confirmation and the pdf of confirmation pdf wasnt mine but of a compete stranger , but the mail I received wasn't from NTA (as claimed by the executive when I called up NTA ) , but nor have I received my own confirmation ,it's of a complete stranger ,now that the id isn't of NTA ,then how is the info of a candidate out to some fraudulent site ? PLS HELP ,SHOULD I BE AFRAID ?
