Esim: Did anyone of you Ported your esim

I've been using jio since early days but since rates are somewhat similar to all operators and now in thinking of switching to VI. Is the porting process Similar to Regular porting or the process is different. It would be helpful if anyone can share there experience as I've tried finding query online but as esims are less common in India. It haven't found any simple answer.
