I agree with Arpit Bala
As a South Indian who doesn't speak and understand a lot of Hindi and who has a broken Hindi accent, I kinda feel arpit was right to say the things he said cuz keshav literally said that "Indians are ashamed to speak Hindi and the people who speak English instead are inferior or a disgrace to the Indian Culture". Now as a South Indian, every Indian doesn't need to learn Hindi. I can speak Telugu, a bit of Kannada and a bit of Tamil and I use English the most to communicate with my friends and collegeus who understand neither of the languages. In fact, everyone here mostly communicates in English whether they're a North Indian or a South Indian. There is literally no discrimination But when I travel to the North let's say Noida or Punjab, I can see people looking down on me as if I'm trying to act cool and that I should be ashamed of myself for not speaking Hindi as "All Indians should speak Hindi". I can sense people who think I'm weird Hindi is kinda imposed on me in the North, which is exactly what Keshav Jha did too. English is recognised as an Indian Language too by the constitution right? I'm from Bangalore and I absolutely do *not* hate Hindi. Should people really be judged on the basis of what language they're speaking? Because English wasn't orginated in India and Hindi was? P.S I just want your opinions, I don't wanna fight or anything. I'm open to all your opinions3
