Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is the most toxic, repetitive, and brain-dead show ever made – I need to rant

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS THIS GARBAGE SHOW?! *Yeh Hai Mohabbatein* started off as something beautiful, something meaningful, something that actually made sense. And then? THEN? The writers decided to completely obliterate every single ounce of logic and shove down the most toxic, repetitive, and brain-dead storytelling imaginable. Let’s start with the walking red flag that is RAMAN BHALLA. This man is abusive as hell, and the show just lets it slide like it's normal behavior. He SCREAMS at Ishita, he HUMILIATES her constantly, he even tried to RAPE her in a drunken rage, and yet somehow, we’re supposed to root for this couple? And let’s not forget that he LITERALLY TRIED TO CHOKE HER TO DEATH. HE TRIED TO KILL HER. And what happens after? Oh, let me guess—Ishita forgives him because "he's a good man at heart." WHAT?!? WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE IS THIS? Are we supposed to just accept that a man can be a violent, controlling, abusive piece of garbage as long as he "loves his family"? THIS IS NOT ROMANCE. THIS IS A GODDAMN NIGHTMARE. And Shagun. MY GOD. HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO WATCH THE SAME SHIT? She was evil, then she was good, then evil again, then good, and now what? OH, LOOK, SHE’S EVIL AGAIN. AGAIN. THIS SHOW JUST LOVES DRAGGING THE SAME DEAD STORYLINE THROUGH THE MUD OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Oh, Shagun is plotting against Ishita? BEEN THERE. Oh, Shagun is trying to steal Pihu? DONE THAT. Oh, now she’s KIDNAPPING ISHITA? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? HOW MANY DAMN TIMES ARE WE GOING TO WATCH THE SAME STORY PLAY OUT? And don’t even get me started on how this show NEVER lets Ishita be happy for more than five goddamn minutes. Every time she gets a moment of peace, BOOM! KIDNAPPED! BOOM! RUHI HATES HER AGAIN! BOOM! RAMAN IS YELLING AT HER FOR NO REASON! IT NEVER ENDS. IT'S JUST A CYCLE OF MISERY AND SUFFERING AND THESE STUPID WRITERS JUST KEEP DOING IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN LIKE THEY’RE LITERALLY LAUGHING IN OUR FACES. WHAT WAS EVEN THE POINT OF RUHI’S WHOLE CHARACTER ARC? SHE COMES BACK AS RUHAAN, SHE HATES HER FAMILY, SHE LOVES THEM AGAIN, THEN SHE HATES THEM AGAIN, THEN SHE LOVES THEM AGAIN. MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MINDS! I swear, the writers had one storyline, printed it out 500 times, shuffled the pages, and just threw them in a random order every time they needed new episodes. And can we talk about this **obsession** with kids being taken away? FIRST RUHI, THEN ADI, THEN PIHU—THIS SHOW LOVES RIPPING CHILDREN AWAY FROM THEIR PARENTS LIKE IT’S THEIR ONLY DAMN PLOT DEVICE. Someone is always leaving the house, someone is always being disowned, someone is always screaming, and then a few episodes later, **SURPRISE! Everything’s fine again, until the next forced melodrama.** HOW MANY TIMES CAN ONE FAMILY FALL APART BEFORE IT STOPS BEING ENTERTAINING? AND WHERE THE HELL IS THE LAW IN THIS SHOW?! NO ONE EVER GOES TO JAIL. Like, literally, people commit ATTEMPTED MURDER, KIDNAPPING, ATTEMPTED RAPE, ASSAULT, FRAUD, CONSPIRACY—AND THEY’RE JUST WALKING AROUND LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED. Every villain in this show gets away with absolute monstrosities, but somehow, **the Bhalla family is always thrown in jail for no reason at all?!** You could LITERALLY kidnap and try to kill Ishita ten times, and you’d still be out on bail before the next episode. Meanwhile, Raman or Ishita get framed for something dumb, and the whole family is crying outside a police station for three weeks straight. HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?! WHAT COUNTRY IS THIS WHERE THE POLICE JUST HAND OUT GET-OUT-OF-JAIL-FREE CARDS TO CRIMINALS BUT ARREST RANDOM INNOCENT PEOPLE EVERY TIME THE PLOT DEMANDS IT?! This show is a masterpiece in HOW TO RUIN SOMETHING GOOD. It took what could have been an empowering story about love, family, and overcoming struggles and turned it into a never-ending cycle of suffering, toxicity, and absolute nonsense. There’s no character development, there’s no logic, just the same damn thing every few months with a different coat of paint. I CANNOT BELIEVE PEOPLE SAT THROUGH THIS AND ACTUALLY KEPT WATCHING. I AM DONE. SO. FUCKING. DONE.
