What is srsly going on with Udne Ki Aasha's FL?

I just caught up to the latest episode and man they have completely destroyed the FL. Girl was scolding the ML for defending her against some buddha who was character assassinating her and accusing her of theft. She used to be so fun to watch. What went wrong 😭
