Was rewatching Dekha Ek Khwaab recently and I have some thoughts

So, I know a lot of people love the show Dekha Ek Khwaab (me included). However, after rewatching the show after many years as an adult, I have some thoughts I wanted to share with y'all. 1. Akash was an ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY character: Walk with me, ok guys? I don't understand how the writers thought Akash could be a relevant character after introducing Udayveer as a parallel lead. I mean the guy had no chance from Day 1! From the time Udayveer discovered that Moniya was Manyata there was no way he was going to let her marry Akash! On top of that Akash wasn't a practical person at all! Like bro knew that Manyata was a princess who was promised to someone else, how on Earth did he think that he could marry her and that too when its been a few days since he met her! 2. Udayveer supposedly accidently "killing" Akash was messed up: Ok, hear me out ok guys! I LOVE Udayveer! I LOVE that he's an absolute LOSER in love. But, him "killing" Akash and then pursuing Manyata was a different level of messed up! The writers could have easily avoided this subplot! uughhh! 3. Manyata was treated unfairly for a long time: I know Manyata was a borderline annoying character but she was treated unfairly. She was kidnapped unfairly for no fault of her own! She was brought up in poverty! How did the royal family expect that she would just accept them and live like them and follow their rules without any questions or protest! 4. So much could have been done with the characters of Jainandini: and Manyata Jainandini was a smart, intelligent, and beautiful princess who suffered from a huge inferiority complex, in my opinion. And this inferiority complex was definitely not her fault. Both Manyata and Jainandini deserved better parents! Constantly made to feel like the second best and that the fame and riches that she has been brought up in is not hers certainly created adverse effects on her mental health. Secondly, for a good chunk of the show, Manyata was OBSESSED with Akash for no good reason at all! She had no dimensions to her personality at all. Girlie made Akash her whole personality, and after a point, it became annoying. They could have just shown Manyata's inner conflicts about her adopted father, he real father, but no Akash was given more priority than he deserved! I wanted Jainandini and Manyata to bond with each other on the grounds of how unfairly both of them have been treated. 5. Murder being swept under the rug: The whole story started because Manyata's real dad killed her kidnapper's wife and child, but that was completely swept under the rug and ignored! They could have shown Manyata act more maturely to this news, but no! 6. Manyata's friends: her friends, especially Chikki, are annoying af!!!! Chikki is annoying and delusional! Uughhhh!!! So these are some of my thoughts on the show...
