Was Ayesha's voice always this screachy?

Never watched Ghum 1 as such but was Ayesha's voice always this screachy and acting this ott ? not that the other girl playing Mallika/ Malla is any better. Vikrant as a char seems to be the only normal one in the show from whatever i have seen and Adnan is playing Vikrant well!
