StarPlus strategy?

It seems that Star Plus’ current plan is to keep the same shows in the primetime slots no matter what. It seems these shows will never end! Ghum, Rishta, Anupama, Jhanak etc will remain forever and just bring new generations and replace actors when the TRP isn’t what they want. The production will remain the same.  This is such a ripoff for the audience because if the producer has a guaranteed spot, they have low motivation to bring fresh ideas and new concepts.  I’m tired of these leaps. Writers will push toxic content until they themselves are tangled in their mess, and then leap! Like there is no story arc, no resolution.  Such a lazy approach. Then they wonder why audiences are going to other forms of entertainment. Also, I know this is not unique to Star Plus, but they seem to have one the biggest markets and I'd hope they'd do better than this.
