Just finished Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai S03: the Abhira Story. Feel so overwhelmed 😭
I'm sorry if this sounds stupid. I just finished binging and need emotional support 😭 Found this sub to let my feelings out. Couldn't go on Twitter bcs there is a different current season being discussed on the hashtag. So please be kind. Here it goes.. IMO it starts a little weak (May be an unpopular opinion, I haven't watched earlier seasons) But once it has you, you're all in. And I'm hook, line, and sinker in love with **Dr. Abhimanyu Birla** ❤️ The way he thinks, loves, hates, fights, regrets, apologises, grows. The way he never let anything happen to his woman's lehenga! 😭 His humanity is so beautifully flawed, yet so aspirational. He's that tragic yet larger-than-life hero you cannot help but love. Someone who is burdened with the weight of the world, but cannot falter without the same world going out of their way to punish him. **Harshvardhan** was bad, but he was right about **Akshara Goenka** all along. Poor Abhi was a dead man walking the day he decided to pursue her. (Everyone was, the less said about her the better) **Abhir and Ruhi**! Omg what cuties who elevated the show so much. Before the 5 year leap, it often felt like Abhimanyu was carrying the story alone. But these little angels come along & make it feel like the real story has *just* started! Abhir's first times speaking to & later meeting his father.. And a warm rendition of 🎵 *yeh rishta kya kehlata hai*🎵 plays in the background 😭 That's some top notch acting, direction, editing for ITV. Forever live rent free in my head!! **Neil**!!! He was the soul & so charming! Where **Parth, Shefali, Anisha, Kairav, Vansh** got wasted.. Neil shone even in his limited screentime. I'm glad if not him, at least his Chipkali got her arcs. However painfully so 😭 I'm so suprised and impressed at how well they made me stan **Aarohi** by the end! **Abhinav** was cringe but I liked him. I just wish they had either ended his arc sooner, or given him more to do. Poor guy was very disrespectfully made to hang out in the background for so long, yet limited to almost being like Akshara's pet. All in all, I'm reeling in so much sadness. Dr. Abhimanyu Birla and his story is iconic. Even his death was like a relief -- For the first time in his life, he can finally afford to let go. He finally gets to be free and rest 💔 One of the most enticing, emotional, tragic, endearing, & memorable stories in recent years!5
