How nandini started strong but became a toxic mess.

I used to love Nandini for its strong characters, mythological elements, and gripping storyline. The show had a unique charm, and every female character had her own justified perspective, whether good or grey. But over time, things changed, and now I completely oppose such shows. What Went Wrong? 1. Arun cheated on Ganga, and she still forgave him – Instead of standing up for herself, Ganga accepted everything as if nothing had happened. 2. The forced marriage of Seeta – Arun put Janaki’s mangalsutra on Seeta, and she accepted it in the name of culture, even though there was no proper marriage. 3. Ganga was forbidden from meeting her own father and sister – And shockingly, she didn’t even oppose it! 4. Domestic abuse was normalized – Arun beat Ganga in front of the entire family over a minor misunderstanding, yet she continued to love him. 5. Cheap twists ruined the show – From introducing a secret second wife and daughter to property fights and unnecessary drama, the show lost its originality. 6. The mythological essence was lost – What started as a supernatural and powerful story turned into just another family drama filled with toxic relationships. At this point, the show is just promoting toxic forgiveness, glorifying abuse, and forcing women to accept betrayal in the name of love and culture. It no longer aligns with my values, and I’ve decided to stop watching it. Has anyone else watched this show?
