Here we go again

I am so fed up of this. I talked about it when Dil Ko Tumse Pyar Hua came out and they casted someone that isn’t even dark skinned in real life as Deepika by putting horrendous dark foundation on her. The makeup was so bad than in some episodes, she looked like burnt orange more than tanned or dark. And now surprise surprise, there is a show called Jamuniya coming out that’s once again about a dark skinned girl being humiliated for her skin tone. I just saw the promo and it pissed me off because Aleya Ghosh isn’t even dark skinned. She is a bit tan but the foundation they went with was so horrendous that it feels like they just put whatever on her to make her look as dark as possible. And it’s once again a story about a poor dark skinned girl being married to a rich ML. They rinse and repeat the same fucking story when it comes to dark skinned FL. And it’s never a naturally dark skinned FL!! The only one where I saw them cast a naturally dark skinned FL was for Tose Naina Milaike and even there they purposely did her makeup badly to make her look darker than she already is. It’s so toxic.
